Recycling - Garden hand tools

Non-powered garden hand tools

Tools such as spades, forks, rakes and trowels can be recycled at our two Recycling Centres.

The tools will be collected by the Tool Shed project which is run jointly between the Scottish Prison Service and The Conservation Foundation who will collect and refurbish the tools for use by schools, charities and community garden groups.

They cannot accept power tools or workshop tools (these can be recycled in our electricals skip) only non-powered, garden hand tools. They also accept handles as these can be used to mend other tools.
