What to do
Coffee grounds and filter paper can be collected as part of your food waste collection service.
Or compost these in your home compost unit. Used coffee grounds are naturally high in nitrogen and other nutrients and make great mulch for plants that thrive in acid soil. They are also said to be a useful slug deterrent.
