What to do
Light bulbs cannot be recycled as part of the red box kerbside recycling service the metal filaments and elements they contain contaminate the glass recycling process.
- Incandescent bulbs (i.e. standard)
- Florescent
- Halogen
- Light-emitting diode (LED)
bulbs can all be recycled in the light bulb container at your local Recycling Centre.
