Who should apply?
Anyone who keeps a dangerous wild animal as defined in the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976. -
Anyone wishing to keep Dangerous Wild Animals must apply for a licence before receiving the animal(s). Any nearby residents or other concerned persons can object.

Cost
£262 plus the vet's fee (variable depending on premises). -
Additional information
When the application is received the premises concerned will be inspected by an Environmental Health Officer and the Council's Veterinary Adviser. A licence will be granted subject to the premises and welfare arrangements for the animal being satisfactory. -
