The proposals
The proposed work includes altering and partially demolishing listed buildings, building new extensions and other improvements including sports pitches, landscaping, parking, roads and refuse storage.
Shaping the planning application
Local people’s views will help shape the proposed planning application. The external project team will host another drop in about how they’ve considered all comments to date.
Statutory consultation process
This public consultation forms part of the statutory pre-application consultation process and comments should not be made to Midlothian Council Planning Department at this time.
Not comments to the planning authority
Any comments made in relation to the prospective application are not comments to the planning authority. If a planning application is submitted to Midlothian Council as planning authority, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal then.
Thanks for coming to the informal drop-in
There has already been one informal drop-in about the proposals on 23 May 2024.
