Complete library self-registration form

Completing the self-registration form is the first part of the process to become a full member.

You will still need to visit a Midlothian library (with ID) to collect your card and finalise your membership.

It is also now possible to register and use our eResources immediately.

Complete the self-registration and keep a note of your UNREG membership number and your 4-digit PIN.

These can be used to access eBooks and other online materials immediately and for free.

School and nursery class membership

Class teachers in Midlothian can join the library on behalf of the class and then borrow up to 30 items at a time.

Good Neighbour Scheme

This scheme is for members who are unable to visit their local library and wish a neighbour, friend, or relative to use their library card to borrow items for them. The scheme is also suitable for use by vulnerable adults since it enables a Good Neighbour to act on their behalf.
