Planning fees

At its meeting on 21 March 2023 Midlothian Council agreed, in principle, to introduce discretionary charging for the Planning Service.

Subsequent to this, on 16 May 2023, Midlothian Council’s Planning Committee approved a report which included a Fees Charter, setting out the detail of the schedule of fees.

The Planning Fees Charter will be introduced on 3 July 2023.
