Fun Slope

The new fun slope is part of Destination Hillend, a  project to develop the centre into a multi-activity leisure facility.

Snowsports Centre, the fun slope

The 130 metre fun slope was designed by snowsports firm Briton Engineering and includes three different types of pitches, jumps and other features to appeal to everyone from beginners to elite athletes.

National Performance Coach for Freeski at Snowsport Scotland, Murray Buchan says 'there's nothing in Scotland at this level.'

The video shows Scottish and GB Park and Pipe riders testing the slope:

The new fun slope is open to the public during opening hours (subject to open practice restrictions)

Alternatively, call our reception on 0131 445 4433 if you are interested in a 1:1 private freestyle lesson.

Fun slope users should be competent skiers or snowboarders, able to confidently turn in parallel or link their snowboard turns.

Helmets are compulsory on all slopes.
