Register of Local Place Plans

The Planning (Scotland) Act 2019 and the Town and Country Planning (Local Place Plans) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 require planning authorities to maintain and publish a Register of Local Place Plans.

Midlothian Council registered 8 local place plans at its Planning Committee on 4 June 2024.

We have a responsibility to consider the plans in the preparation of Midlothian Local Development Plan 2 (MLDP2).
