Watch council meetings live online

Members of the public can now watch Midlothian Council meetings live online.

Full Council and planning 

Both the full Council and planning committee meetings will be available to view via a Microsoft Teams events link, which customers will be able to find on the planning and full Council pages of the council website.

How to access

Just use the calendar to find the meeting invite and agenda papers a few days beforehand.

Meetings recorded and uploaded onto YouTube

During the current pandemic and while the council focussed on delivering critical services only, meetings of the full Council – attended by all councillors – and planning were recorded and uploaded to the website afterwards.

The new service will also give the public the chance to view proceedings at both the full Council and planning committee live.
