Funding available for groups offering employability support
Funding is now available for community groups, charities, social enterprises, public sector bodies and private providers who can provide employability support for eligible people aged 16 to 67 who need additional support.
Improved life chances
No One Left Behind is the Scottish approach to employability provision. It focuses on the needs of the individual and builds on their strengths, giving them the right support to help to improve their life chances.
Applications open
Applications are now open to eligible projects for grant funding of £10,000 or above as part of Midlothian’s Local Employability Partnership’s No One Left Behind offer. Projects must be delivered between May 2022 and March 2023.
Priorities
Eligible projects need to demonstrate how they meet the priorities of No One Left Behind as set out by the Scottish Government. The objectives include providing support for people to access good quality external employability programmes, formal volunteering and employment opportunities, and increasing the number of people engaged in learning and skills development for 16 to 24 year olds and 25 to 67 year olds.
Key dates
Applications are open until 12 April 2022, with those applying for funding likely to hear the outcome by the beginning of May.
