Lasswade and Newbattle Leisure centre spas to re-open

We are pleased to confirm that from Saturday 27 August, our Lasswade and Newbattle centres will re-open their spas to customers and members. 

Global chlorine shortages
This is another step forward as we try to recover from ongoing issues with chlorine supplies globally. Spa facilities have been closed in recent weeks due to a worldwide shortage of chemicals used to keep the water in swimming pools clean.

Loanhead centre update
Please note we are not currently in a position to re-open the spa at Loanhead Leisure Centre. The swimming pool remains our priority at Loanhead, and as soon as we can open the spa, we’ll do so.
