Advice for postal voters - issued Sunday 30 June
If you have your postal pack
If you would rather hand in your postal vote than put it in the mail then come to the reception in our council offices at Midlothian House, 40-46 Buccleuch Street, Dalkeith, between 9am and 5pm Monday to Wednesday and 6am to 10pm on Thursday 4 July. You will be asked to fill in a form prior to leaving your vote.
If you do not have a postal pack
If you have not yet received your postal voting pack, you may apply for a replacement between now and 5pm on Thursday 4 July by:
• Emailing elections@midlothian.gov.uk
• or calling 0131 271 3384
You will be asked to come into Midlothian House, 40-46 Buccleuch Street, Dalkeith, EH22 1DN, to collect your pack. Please bring identification with your home address on it. We will also have a polling booth set up in reception where you can complete your postal vote in privacy and you can then leave the pack with reception, after filling in the aforementioned form.
