Part of Straiton Road to close

From Monday 29 July, the northbound carriageway of Straiton Road (towards the City Bypass) in Loanhead will be closed to vehicles from 6pm to 6am for approximately two weeks.

Two phases

The road will be closed in two phases for the resurfacing work:    

• Phase 1: from the roundabout on Straiton Road (next to Sainsbury’s) to the junction into Straiton Park and Ride 
• Phase 2: from its junction with Straiton Park and Ride to the*roundabout where it joins with A720 bypass 

Buses

Buses will still be able to access Straiton Park and Ride.

Diversion

Alternative routes for motorists will be via Nivensknowe Road, Herd Terrace, The Loan and B702 and vice versa. Many thanks for your patience.
