Penicuik’s Belwood Road to close for resurfacing

From Monday 26 August, the western end of Belwood Road in Penicuik will close to traffic temporarily for resurfacing of the road and pavements. 

Restrictions

Work is taking place between between the junction of Mauricewood Road and Lammermuir Cottage, and is expected to last six weeks.

Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Diversion

Alternative routes for motorists will be via the A701 Edinburgh Road, Mauricewood Road and vice versa.
