Second Penicuik High redevelopment drop-in
Local people are invited to a final pre-consultation drop-in on Wednesday 21 August about plans to redevelop Penicuik High School.
At Penicuik Leisure Centre
Come along to Penicuik Leisure Centre, Carlops Road, EH26 9EP, anytime between 4pm and 8pm.
What did the team do with your feedback?
Representatives from the project team will be available to discuss how they have used the feedback from the first pre-consultation drop-in June to inform a future planning application.
Improving the campus
The proposed work includes altering and partially demolishing listed buildings, building new extensions and other improvements including landscaping, parking, roads and refuse storage.
Statutory process
This public consultation forms part of the statutory pre-application consultation process and comments should not be made to Midlothian Council Planning Department at this time. Any comments made in relation to the prospective application are not comments to the planning authority.
Public will be able to comment on a planning application
If a planning application is submitted to Midlothian Council as planning authority, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and local people will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal then.
