Alpine Coaster fully booked for Opening Weekend

The new Alpine Coaster is fully booked for its Opening Weekend, taking place on Saturday 14 September and Sunday 15 September.

A spokesperson for Midlothian Snowsport Centre said: “We are thrilled that the new Alpine Coaster has garnered so much interest and that tickets have fully sold out for the ride’s Opening Weekend.  

Visitors asked to check weather before departure and dress for outdoors

“We are looking forward to welcoming visitors this weekend and to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience, we are kindly asking all visitors to check the weather before they depart and to dress appropriately for the outdoors.  

Arrive in plenty of time for scheduled ride

“Due to the high number of visitors expected, there may be some queuing and wait times so we would encourage you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled ride time.  

“We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make this an unforgettable adventure for everyone. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support! We can’t wait to see you there!”  

How to book tickets for 21 September and 22 September

Visitors looking to book a ride on the Alpine Coaster will not have to wait too long before the next available dates.  

Bookings will soon open for spaces on Saturday 21 September and Sunday 22 September. You can book online from Saturday 14 September at www.midlothian.gov.uk/coaster 

Tickets are £7 for one ride and £19 for a bundle of three rides.
