Storm Bert could cause disruption

Met Office Yellow warnings are in place for snow/ice, rain and high winds over the weekend in Midlothian.

Watch out for Storm Bert

From early Saturday morning expect snow and ice followed by heavy rain and a rapid thaw from around mid-day on Saturday through to Sunday lunchtime could cause flooding in some areas.

Strong winds

Meanwhile strong winds from early Saturday morning until around 7pm could add to the potential disruption. Our gritters will be out treating priority routes, as required.
