Mayfield Primary pupils transport arrangements to and from Easthouses Primary School

• Bus pick up and drop off point: car park next to the old Mayfield Leisure Centre.
• Pick up time: 8.35am.
• Drop off time: 3.30pm approximately Mondays to Thursdays and 12.15pm on Fridays.

Which coaches to get on

• Bus 1: Primary 1, Primary 7S, Thistle Class.
• Bus 2: Primary 1/2, Primary 5J, Primary 7W.
• Bus 3: Primary 3/4, Primary 4.
• Bus 4: Primary 5Z, Primary 6H, Primary 6M.
• Bus 5: Primary 2, Primary 3.

All buses will have clear signs showing the classes to be on the coach. A staff member will accompany children to and from school on the coach. Members of the senior leadership team members will be helping on Tuesday morning and afternoon at the pick up and drop off.

When to be at the bus stop

• All children must travel on the coach for their class and must be at the bus stop for 8.35am.

Car parking

• For safety, no cars will be allowed to park in the car park. 

Arriving at Easthouses Primary

• Coaches will stop outside the school car park.
• Children will disembark and use pedestrian entrances to get into the school playground where members of staff will be waiting. 

If bringing your child directly to Easthouses Primary

• The car park is not available for drop offs and pick ups.
• You should park in the football pavilion opposite the school and use the zebra crossing to get into the school playground. 
• A safe route for walking to the school from Mayfield will be shared as soon as possible.

Mayfield Primary School breakfast club

• The breakfast club will be available at Easthouses Primary School from 8.30am from Tuesday, with ‘grab and go’ toast available for those children arriving by coach.

Mayfield Nursery transport arrangements

• The nursery bus will now pick up children from car park next to the old leisure centre in Mayfield.
• The bus times will stay the same as before the holidays.
• The car park is clearly labelled for buses.
• Please do not park in this car park.
