Placing request 2025/26: Primary 1

You must submit a separate placing request application for each child.

Important: before you begin

Please read the Placing in Schools Booklet (PDF).
You must register the pupil at their catchment area school.

Supporting documents

If the pupil has a disability or any additional needs, we will need documentary evidence. Please send photos/scans of the documents to pupil.placement@midlothian.gov.uk, within 14 days from now.

Complex needs

This form should not be used to request a place in a complex needs provision. If you would like to apply for a place in a complex needs provision please discuss with the Primary School Head Teacher.
