Kickstart is a government funded programme that focuses on helping young people get into work and gain training at the same time.
Our Kickstarters
A total of 24 young people have taken up Kickstart placements with the council in services including roads, landscaping and property and facilities. Many thanks to all council services supporting our Kickstart placements.

Craig Forbes
Craig Forbes, who works with our roads team, now has his sights on a two year apprenticeship thanks to his Kickstart placement.
